Caramba! is a modern espresso: vibrant, sweet, and made for those who enjoy a more expressive cup.
This coffee comes from Rancho Dantas, produced by Pedro and Gracilda Di Paula in Espírito Santo, Brazil. Their work is hands-on from start to finish, with selective hand-picking, careful depulping, and slow drying on covered patios next to their home.
During harvest, the days are long and precise. The cherries are dried in stages and turned regularly to avoid unwanted fermentation and reach the right moisture level. This attention during drying is part of what brings clarity and balance to the cup.
The lot is part of the Lado a Lado project by FAF Coffees. A mobile lab travels through different micro-regions to cup coffees directly with producers, helping them understand how their work shows up in the cup and where quality can be improved.

Expect Caramba! to be sweet and lively, with notes of brown sugar, dried fruit, speculoos and milk chocolate. It has a smooth body, a gentle fruitiness, and enough roundness to work well with milk while still keeping its character as a more vibrant espresso.
