This coffee comes from Finca Andaluz, located in Génova, in the Quindío region of Colombia.
The farm was created by the Hiller family after their return to Colombia, following more than fifteen years abroad. Inspired by their time in Central America and by a long-standing family connection to coffee, they began searching for the right place to produce specialty coffee.
Finca Andaluz was chosen for its altitude, rich soils, natural water sources, forest, biodiversity, and its potential to produce high-quality lots. The name Andaluz is a tribute to Luz Bernal de Hiller, whose dedication to coffee farming helped shape the family’s path.
This lot is a washed Geisha, planted seven years ago at the farm. Geisha is known for being a delicate and demanding variety to cultivate, but also for its clarity and elegance in the cup. At Andaluz, it has become one of the most remarkable coffees produced on the farm.
Today, the farm is moving from traditional coffee production towards shaded cultivation and regenerative practices. The team produces its own lactic biofertilisers for the soil and foliage, and uses biological methods whenever possible to support plant health and control pests.
This coffee reflects a family project built on heritage, curiosity, and a clear pursuit of quality.
