This coffee is selected from the Grossi family in the Cerrado Mineiro, Brazil. Their history with coffee goes back several generations. José Carlos has been growing coffee in the Cerrado since 1972, when the region was still little known for coffee production.
This lot is a blend of 50% natural and 50% pulped natural coffees, made from Red Catuai and Mundo Novo varieties. The blend offers a round and sweet taste with structure.

Tasting notes of dark chocolate, caramel and nougat with a muted acidity and syrupy texture.
The coffee is shipped across the Atlantic by sailboat and roasted in our atelier in Brussels.
